How can the Learning Innovations Group help me with traditional classroom instruction?

One way is to improve the accessibility of materials. If an instructor has a variety of materials that are often used in a classroom, such as video clips, music from different sources, overheads, pictures, or slides, these can be condensed into multimedia format, such as a CD, to make them easier to use during a class.

doc.gif   What is instructional design and how can it help me?

Instructional Design is a systematic approach to the development of instructional programs which takes into account learning theory and research in order to ensure that the intended learning aims are realized. In gaining understanding of the principles of instructional design, an instructor will become more aware of learner needs, choices in content structure and delivery, gaps in the teaching process, and assessment options.
